Peace Out Eczema: Month 1
http://peaceouteczema.blogspot.com/p/month-1_31.html
My journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Day 1- Day 31). I believe it was at this point that I discovered Topical Steroid Withdrawal. I was so depressed from having no idea what was going on and it was getting PAINFUL. My arms felt like someone was pouring acid on them. It was so horribly painful. Woke up dry and swollen. Ears are hot, swollen and flaking. Lots of night sweating and oozing. Decided to go to bed without a shower. Dry healing. Had to apply Vaseline on neck. My skin on my neck and should...

My journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Day 246- Day 275). This month was BRUTAL. Very sad oozy flaring that cleared up for my brother's wedding on the 28th! The end of this post is happy. but the rest is horrid. Dear Jen, these donuts will make you flare. hard. On the plane, I actually felt SOMEWHAT normal. Didn't itch too badly and didn't hurt! Peace Out Eczema: Month 5
http://peaceouteczema.blogspot.com/p/month-5.html
My journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Day 123- Day 153). I am now in what I would consider Phase III of my journey. ( Phase I. Was the first month of HORRIBLY HOT, red, and painful rash. Like a sunburn rubbed with fiberglass. Lots of night terrors and sweats with full body aches from the withdrawal. My skin was so hot it would radiate heat. Phase II was where my face fell the h* * off. Phase III is what I call "the roller coaster of rashy, itchy, stingy, burny, welty redness. What only people with ...

Peace Out Eczema: Month 7
http://peaceouteczema.blogspot.com/p/month-7.html
My journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Day 185- Day 214). Month 7. I can't believe I'm in month 7. It doesn't seem real. Month 7 has brought on some worsening skin, but it's also brought my life back! I no longer let my skin dictate what I do and don't do. If my skin sucks I cover it and GO. My energy is also coming back really strong! So, it's been good! Got some new clothes that can cover my annoying arms. Neck is SO dry. If I add moisturizer, it itches and burns. COLLOIDAL SILVER is amazing!

Peace Out Eczema: Month 16
http://peaceouteczema.blogspot.com/p/month-16_2.html
My journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Day 457- Day 486). Well, month 16 was interesting. I started using Eucerine Restoraderm on a regular basis, showers became quite enjoyable, and I visited Portland and loved it. I still have crap skin on a regular cycle, but the crap is becoming less severe and the good is becoming more predictable and regular. I feel like the restoraderm is helping heal the skin barrier. I've started wearing.wait for it. SHORT SLEEVES AND TANK TOPS! Anyway. on with the pics.

Peace Out Eczema: Month 6
http://peaceouteczema.blogspot.com/p/month-6.html
My journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Day 154- Day 184). I felt 100% normal! We went ALL day without stopping and stayed out til 1am. I didn't want the day to end. Right before my date. This is with 100% natural light. What I would look like out. I was in much more pain than I looked if that says anything. I really wanted to cancel our date night. BUT I didn't. I threw on a scarf and went. It's amazing how OLD TSW makes you look! I have severe eye wrinkles. And the coup de grâce. MY STUPID NECK.

Slips and Slides-The Remarks We Make and Take. Posted by Carolyn J. Palo. January 22, 2011. By Carolyn J. Palo. As a corporate professional firstly, and retail sales associate secondly, I had attended many seminars and HR events focused on proper workplace behavior. Everyone knows the rules. So I thought. I felt I needed to react, but I didn’t. The ending to this is to continue to speak up, for yourself and for others. Keep a respectful workplace, as best you can. Your co-workers are relying on it. 8220;Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye – So I Deleted Thee”. Posted by Carolyn J. Palo. January 31, 2011. By Carolyn J. Palo. After reading Joe Queenan’s article in the WSJ: “Why I Defriend the Old-Fashioned Way”. We all change in some ways, and I suspect the bestest friends are those where no matter how much time goes by, you meet up and it was “just like yesterday.” Yet, what if you never even had a “yesterday? 8221; Hmmm…. Anything other than that, you and I probably aren’t really friends. We just boa...Or as o...

Peace Out Eczema: Month 3
http://peaceouteczema.blogspot.com/p/month-3.html
My journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. I just sat down at my computer and sifted through the last 2 months in photos. I looked back at the beginning when I thought I looked horrible and WISH I looked like that today! Haha I also looked back to photos from 10 days ago and got a stomach ache. The one I posted didn't hold a candle to the ones I have on my computer, but I can't even deal with them yet. My body physically reacted to the point I had to stop looking. Last night, day 68, was bad. My neck ge...
