Thursday, January 27, 2011. We received a letter today stating that we have been reassigned to a new social worker! Her name is Tiffany and Steve and I are eager to get started with her. We had met her at a matching event over the summer and were impressed with her. So, this is exciting news in our world! Saturday, March 19, 2011. Today we went to a matching event in Raleigh. We had a great time yet again! We were reminded yet again that all kids just want love and respect. Kids are kids, no matter what the circumstance. The kids were awesome and fun to play with. Overall, we'd call today a success! We asked for a few more profiles plus there is a 3 year old boy whom we are waiting on more information about. Things are moving along and we'll continue to keep you posted. The visit went well and we learned a lot more about what is expected of us. (a fire inspection, finger printing for background checks, financial records, proof of insurance and a 30 page personal profile on each one of us).
