I'd Rather Be Visiting My Kids. Friday, July 4, 2008. I truly have very little to say. But, that has stopped few people before, so, here goes. I miss my kids. LOTS! They grew up faster than I was warned, finished college, got married and moved away. A bright spot, though, is now I have two wonderful sons-in-law, and two great places to visit them: Kihei, Maui, Hawai`i and Oxnard, California (near Ventura/Santa Barbara.). I also have four furry grand kids. Well, I'm going to check fares. Not much from here.

I'd Rather Be Visiting My Kids. Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Boy, it's been a busy week. I hadn't realized it until I spoke with Kelly last night and started listing what we had been doing. After spending a couple days working on the shirts for the church's women's retreat, we installed the pantry Saturday after I put three coats of polyurethane on the shelves.
