603 North Locust: May 2007
http://northlocust.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 31, 2007. The 2008 North Locust Conference: A Proposal. Our week in Annapolis was so exquisite; let's not wait two more years to gather again. We have already started to think about next time, and this is what we propose:. And Jeremy could talk about Ecology of a Cracker Childhood. Jeremy will wrangle crabs and cook them, I expect. And we will sit on roofs or porches and tell each other about school and work and bills and life, and be happy. Posted by Kelly @ 10:50 AM. Saturday, May 26, 2007.

603 North Locust: April 2007
http://northlocust.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2007. A while ago Taylor and I exchanged a few notes about an orthodox theologian named David Bentley Hart. During one of my online searches I came across this blog. Although I don't check it regularly, I have enjoyed reading several posts from the archives. I especially like Propositions. From occasional guest writer Kim Fabricus. This set is one of his more pointed criticisms. Ten thoughts on the literal and the literary. How ironic that, on the contrary, an insistence on a single, s...

603 North Locust: September 2006
http://northlocust.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 30, 2006. Thoughts on the house, after having spent a day in the rubble. Some things that have been found:. All the letters she ever wrote me. A whole lot of melted photo albums that are slowly being cut and pried open. Some water soaked books, and some fairly undamaged ones. The occasional pot, some of which have cleaned up relatively well. A couple of quilts Kelly's grandmother made her. Posted by Jeremy @ 8:42 PM. Friday, September 29, 2006. The Iliad is a song. A slow and pain...

Last Man Standing (Or Down? Steve-o and Jenny left Searcy this morning for New Jersey, leaving me the last one (somewhat ironically.) in Searcy. Thank goodness. 603 North Locust: February 2007
http://northlocust.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Speaking of, Kelly's thesis is now sent to her committee. Huzzah! And I've finished 2 of 3 days of comps. The last two days have gone well. Only a few surprises. Tomorrow is my major area, and I think will mostly be managable. I've got a good idea on what 2 of the questions will be. I realize this may be early, but any thoughts on next year's conference? And I realize this one may be a bit out there, but Dothan? If we go for Chicago, it should be during baseball season.

Everyone else did...why not?: July 2010
http://ynotspeak.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Everyone else did.why not? Wednesday, July 28, 2010. I'll admit - this post is being written in a semi-copycat manner thanks to a recent blog by my friend Alice-Anne. The title of the post is actually pretty amusing the more I think about it. I've known about my entry date into the US Navy for about 3 months now, and I'm excited and so ready to get to it. I'm tired of the state of limbo i'm in, and yet I press on knowing I have a good thing waiting for me at the end of this 5 month " rainbow.
