Thursday, June 10, 2010. Our first scrimmage game! We arrived at the ballpark at 6:45 pm and began our pregame warm-ups. After loosening up our arms and taking a few swings using the batting tee, our team was ready to play. We began the game at about 7:15. Since we were the home team the Wildcats batted first. Problems with our generator prevented us from completing the project but we made a lot of progress. The hard day’s work ended with a relaxing tractor ride to the Bond’s house as the sun set. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. A beautiful day on the lake! With weekends devoted to baseball tournaments for the next six to eight weeks we decided to take a trip to the lake Sunday. Early in the morning we loaded the ski boat with coolers, sun screen, kids and our dog Miley. Brooke brought her friend Christy along and VJ invited his buddy Austin.
