Stephen P. Tarzia: software engineer. ClapIR Acoustics Measurement Tool. ClapIR is a tool for measuring the acoustic properties of a room. Simply start the app and clap your hands. ClapIR then analyzes the clap's recording to calculate the room's reverberation times and frequency response. It's acoustics engineering made easy! ClapIR is available in the iTunes store. This is an open-source project. ClapIR is based on research done at Northwestern University by Prem Seetharaman.

Stephen P. Tarzia: software engineer. I wrote a java program that generates postscript Settlers of Catan. Game boards for printout. Settlers of Catan. Is a very fun 3-4 player strategy game that uses a different randomly arranged board for each match. After printing out a board you can mark your settlements with colored highlighters, creating a highly-portable version of the game that requires no setup time. Source code is on GitHub. This allows the use of a Palm Pilot as an alternative PC input device (replacing both the keyboard and mouse), allowing users with certain hand or wrist injuries to type using Graffiti. Rsquo;s character-level input is the solution. My linux driver has the same functionality as Pebbles for Windows. From CMU. The Palm Pilot runs the Remote Commander. Software and is connected to the Linux PC via an rs232 serial cable.
