Thursday, May 26, 2005. HANOVER - Das Kirchentag. So, what is there to say about a large German festival which basically takes over an entire city for the best part of a week, with services, worship and bizzare drum related music wherever you go? EDIT: Now back from Germany and not stifled by the uncertainties of the continental keyboard, I feel more able to expand on some of the more interesting Kirchentag type discoveries. If you read the Robbie Worship. It turned out that they were all absolutley char...

Wednesday, August 31, 2005. VANCOUVER - Waltzing with Bears. Angus and bear stick in the forest. If these trees look familliar, by the way, it's because they used to double for forests all over the US on The X-Files. The lighthouse in Lighthouse Park, with added float plane goodness overhead. Well worth an hour's walk of anyone's time. Aaron taste tests the wet blueberries of Cypress Bowl. They failed, sadly. Posted by Phil C @ 11:42 am. Monday, August 29, 2005. Phil's Phworld: March 2005
http://phworlds.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 22, 2005. I love the NHS. Last time I needed a medical and a pile* of injections I went along to my local doctor. Which happened to be a Student Health service as I was (duh) a student. No problem, you might think. I certainly didn't. Surely the travel concious, injection happy student would find their local student health an ameniable source for travel related fun at reasonable prices, right? Of injections. And one heck. Unsure of the plural for injections. A pile? Thursday, March 17, 2005.

Wednesday, December 28, 2005. ROTORUA - Christmas in Mordor with Tom Cruise. New Zealand is a great place to be for the budget minded (read: tight fisted) traveller who wants to hang around during the height of the holiday season and not spend too much money. For Christmas Day, Bronwyn decided we should go off to her favourite NZ mountain, Mt. Taranaki for my favourite free activity: walking. And boy, did we walk. I feel the need. The need, for samurai! No, wait, that wasn't one. Anyho, here's a nice...

So, after last week's not so much fun happenings this one took a considerable upturn for the following reasons:. 1) Contact from many favourite people. 2) Getting to be all Mr. Centre of Attention.
