Saturday, October 20, 2012. North Eastern Iowa Camping. The last time our family went camping, Ezra was 6 months old, and we went to the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds on Lake Michigan. This week we drove through towns like Elkader, Decorah, McGregor, and Prairie DuChein, WI. On the way there we stopped at Dyersville to buy Christmas gifts at the Ertl toy store. Thursday, August 23, 2012. Ezra, Sonshine Preschool and Explaination. Ezra's preschool orientation was this week. He was more than excited to go to school. There were a few moments of concern, but after his orientation visit, he asked why he couldn't go every day. We too are very excited for him to learn and meet new friends. One of his teachers was actually Grandma Barb's college room mate! I felt there needed to be some explaination. He has turned out to be quite handsome. Zach copying his brother.

Sunday, August 11, 2013. Boender Family Vacation Part 1. Loaded up and ready to depart. We made it to Oshkosh, WI on the first night. The kids and guys went swimming and the girls went to an outlet mall for some shopping. The next morning we had some time to kill so we stopped at a nice wooden park and very small zoo. The guys had as much fun as the kiddos did. At the zoo we found a great place to take a cousin picture. Kristin found us an amazing cabin that fit our family perfectly! The Story of Us.

Established 10.30.10. Sunday, March 15, 2015. Baby Shower and Nursery. Last weekend I was thrown an awesome baby shower. It was such a fun night - pretty decor, great food, fun games and gifts - who could ask for more? Baby Boender is definitely spoiled already and I have a LOT of thank you's to send out :). Kudos to ALL my awesome sisters (all 8 of them) for planning and throwing the shower and helping with food etc. I don't know who all did what but am thankful for everything each one of them did!

Thursday, July 24, 2014. 4th of July Weekend. For the Fourth of July weekend we went to see my sister's family in IL. On Friday we went to Mequoketa Caves. It was a very neat place and I would highly recommend it. The kiddos were ready to go back the next day. Grammy giving Adalli a pep talk before she entered the cave. Monday, July 22, 2013. Here he is with his finished project. Thanks to a Grandpa that owns a hardware store and some good friends that were willing to pitch in some extra time to help cut pieces he is going to State Fair! We are very excited! Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Chopping Triticale and Turning 9. I got a lesson in chopping Triticale the other day when I said "You have to mow it first? Obviously I didn't grow up a farm girl. :) Thank goodness I have a wonderful husband that enjoys teaching me new things! We only had one afternoon to work on this because it rained us out again. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. We packed up last week Wednesday night and headed to Ledges state park near Boone. We stopped in Ames at Hickory Park BBQ before making it to our destination a little after 9:30pm. The next morning we woke up, made breakfast and headed to the hay expo. Next time I would like to spend more time at Ledges and less at the Hay expo :). One of the booths was giving out sunglasses and sunscreen! I think that is a really good way to advertise. The kiddos thought so too! The Story of Us.
