What you hear is the raw recording. EQ settings on the amp: Presence = 2-3, Bass = 8-10, Middle = 3-4, Treble = 6-7, Preamp Volume = 10. Gain Sensitivity = 11. Gain Sensitivity = 15. Master Volume at 4.

The infamous R28 Mod for the MXR Phase 90 has been around for quite a while and not something I came up with. I just chose to share it here. The Boss SD-1 and DS-1 mods I did come up with on my own. Back in 2008, Jack Orman had posted a mod for the Boss DS-1 that helped make newer ones sound sweeter and not so harsh. At the time I had a few laying around and decided to give it a try. Yeah, that did the trick. It made it sound like a DS-1 should. It may be 6 years later, but I feel it is worth sharing. Thank you, Jack.
