Kult and Mojoko have released the latest installation of their Chinese New Year year of screenprint series, ushering in the Year of the Horse with the limited-edition Mojoko Year of the Horse silkscreen print. Like the previous year of releases, the artwork is a mash-up of pop culture imagery presented in vintage poster style. This marks the 5th print in this series, which started in 2009. Kult curated a group exhibition entitled ‘Chinatown Vinyl Squad’, that intends to bring vintage Chinese vinyl record covers back to the public realm with an eye-catching modern twist. The show featured Singapore artists such as Eric Foenander, SBTG, Laqeesh and Reptiliaphobia as well as international artists Russell Taysom from the UK, Deladeso from LA and Ryan Ady Putra from Indonesia.
