A popular tour in Georgetown is the historic Hamill House Museuma beautiful Gothic Revival-style building that was once the home of the town's most famous silver baron, William A. Hamill. The house, which was completed in 1879, was built to Hamill's exacting specifications of the finest materials available. Furnishings were brought in from as far away as England, Hamill's birthplace. In 1971 the house was purchased by Historic Georgetown, Inc. Located at Third and Argentine Streets. Daily, 10 am to 5 pm.
