Nick and Hilary from Sage Realty (538 Parliament) have posted a new quarterly report about Cabbagetown’s house sales. They’ve found that the average sale price for freehold homes in Cabbagetown sold between January and March hit $1,045,941. There were 17 transactions – 5 rowhouses ($867,880), 9 semi-detached ($928,556) and 3 detached ($1,800,000). Check out their online report here. Registration closes May 1.

This week’s image:. Peter shows off a vintage 2008 Cabbagetown Tee on the shores of Georgian Bay. Congrats to the organizers and supporters of last week’s fundraiser at the Farm. Anne Pastuszak reports that 550 people attended including 100 kids who romped around the Kids Zone. The auction featured 33 items and raised over $8,000. The park’s location places it in a crucial spot right at the junction of the new Regent Park and the Cabbagetown shopping area. The other on Aberdeen was damaged in the winter.

This year, ambitious new changes are coming to broaden opportunities for cyclists at all levels. There’ll be more choice for times and rides. The weekly women’s ride will be open to all levels.
