Our goal is to breed Fullblood Highland cattle that are true to the Breed Standard. Using our own stud bulls as well as top quality imported semen, we are able to bring to market some of the best Fullblood Highlands in New Zealand. Our AI sires include the following Fullblood champions - Du Bois le Coq (C 12293). Black Watch Emmett (US 43279). Rushmore Bracken (UK 7582). And Gilleasbuig 1st of Clemlawrie (UK CCL980009). Fullblood Highland cattle have a long and distinguished ancestry in western Scotland and far-flung parts of the world. An old, distinctive, and well known cattle breed, the Highlander has remained largely unchanged over the centuries. Written records go back to the 18th century and the Highland Cattle Herd Book, first published in 1885, lists Fullblood pedigrees since that time.

The following is the Highland Cattle Breed Standard of 1885, which is still current today. We have sourced it from the Highland Cattle Society UK,.
