A little peek into the lives of Jason, Trish, Alia, Elijah and Ethan. Sunday, May 22, 2011. A recap of (most of) April. We were able to go to a CUBS/Dodgers baseball game! Jason was so excited that he dressed us all up in Cubs clothing ;). We had some extra tickets so my parents joined us. And so did our friend, Lea! Ethan's checking everything out. For Easter we went to our friends parents house for dinner! We've gone there the past few years and really enjoy being included with their family.

It was getting pretty wild and crazy.but I was so sad to say goodbye to all the little baby curls. SIGH. But he does look so cute with his new hairscut! This is the after picture. All three kids got the flu, so we were stuck at home trying to get well again. We did manage to bring in our “new to us” piano and hang this window above it! December 25, 2012. A couple that had to travel 10,000 miles around the world to meet. Monday, August 25, 2008. Sabin Saga: Ice Dam on the River

A couple that had to travel 10,000 miles around the world to meet. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Ice Dam on the River. This is the Des Moine River completely frozen over in early March. And then a week later this was the same river. The ice broke up and formed these ice dams. This lasted for 24 hours. The river was clear on the next day. Amazing! Glad we took the photos when we did. Some of these chunks of ice were about 1.5 to 2 feet thick. And yes, this flag is in the middle of the river. Posted by Rob Sabin.
