A place where I was told about a magical transaction, a Papa Bear chair for $20 – because who would want that ugly thing! How very exciting. I’m not the first to find this place, but I don’t know how often my competition is making the pilgrimage. Where is this mecca? I ain’t tellin’! Meanwhile, back at the ranch.

A little fab, a little funky, a little fantastic. It all began a long, long time ago. Not really. Blogging is never something I saw myself doing. Why on earth would I? I’ve been in real estate since 2000 (maybe 1999, I don’t remember anymore! I live in Austin, TX with my patient husband and a menagerie of animals. It will still need a coat of polyurethane to protect it and it’s ridiculously cold and wet here, 39 degrees and overcast (for us, it is! I don’t like below 60! So that will have to wait. It has been retrieved from its most fabulous original habitat and is now groovin’ up the dining room at The Bow! It’s not a permanent addition (I bought it for the shop) but in the meantime I get to drool all over it until it sells. I swear I’ll clean it up before the shippers take it away! You tell me….
