My daughter is learning how to read, mostly from cereal boxes🙂 She is currently fascinated with the concept of “silent E”, that shows up on the box of [crispy] rice etc. The other night we were reading a book, and she’s trying to follow along. Stuff my daughter says. Everyday gems from my toddler. December 22, 2010. Most weekends we make bagels at home, and about half the time my daughter helps out. Well, yesterday we went for lunch at a local Tex-mex restaurant, and the waitress gave my daughter a little ball of dough to play with. At first she was unimpressed, but eventually she started breaking off little pieces and making tiny bagels out of them. Our friend asked her if she often helps Mum make bagels. Her reply?
