Amazing Glaze and lots of yarn. A blog for ceramic and textile lovers. Thursday, June 14, 2012. This is an extremely pretty little vase by Marzi and Remy . The decoration forms a band around the vase and has a very ornate Victorian feel to it. It reminds be of the fabulous intricate work on some iron gates from that period. Marzi and Remy, 1049/15A. It hasn't been all vacation, though. Here's some of my loot from Finland and Estonia, most of it listed in the store. Pedersen and Hansen round teak mirror on a stand. Available in my store. I have managed to answer the emails you have sent. thank you for your patience! I have the same problem every year when spring hits the garden, everything thing else just gets abandoned! I have found some Elsterwerda .at last, which i will show soon. But just to get a re-start. A very vibrant Scheurich for sure!

Friday, May 22, 2015. Living with Vintage: Dresser: 3 Ways. Some people see a dresser and see storage. When I see a dresser, I see valuable horizontal real estate. When I start to style a space, whether it's a shelf, dresser or a table, I use the same "formula". Height Color Texture = Winning! Nod to the 70's. Color - Browns and oranges. Height - The art is a great focal point but the vignette needs the pottery and the lamp to keep things interesting. Texture - The pottery just oozes awesome textures.

Amazing Glaze and lots of yarn. A blog for ceramic and textile lovers. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Strehla vase and bowl, Herbolzheim/Junghans clock. I started the day so well, organized ready for anything.then it all went wild! I did find some great stuff which I will post later. Here are some pieces which made an appearance this morning with the finished mat. Starting at the top -The Clock. Junghans clockwork with Herbolzheimer ceramic surround. The vase is Strehla. A fantastic vase 21 cm in height.
