http://itspartytime.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 February 2013. Pandamonium - Part 1. Pandas are one of my favourite animals and after making reindeer cakes. I really wanted to try making a panda version. I love animals, which a lot of children do too so I thought animal themed cupcakes would be a great idea for a party. Http:/ www.birthdaycakes-idea.com/panda-cupcake-ideas-for-birthday-cake.html. Then my Mum borrowed a cupcake recipe book from a friend which had an amazing recipe for how to make them. Here's a bit about the book. However...

It's Party Time!: Happy Easter!
http://itspartytime.blogspot.com/2013/03/happy-easter.html
Sunday, 31 March 2013. Easter is another time for party food other than birthdays. Families often come together on the Easter Sunday and celebrate the day with a meal. Easter is a fun day for children with all the chocolate they get and is probably the second best holiday to their birthday! When I was young I remember we would always have an cake decorated with little fluffy yellow chicks sitting on top of the icing and my Mum would organise an Easter egg hunt for me. Which kids can help along with.

Sweet Exchange: Toffee
http://sweet-exchange.blogspot.com/2013/03/toffee.html
Sábado, 9 de março de 2013. This really really made me miss home. But it also made me glad to be learning. So much about British culture, habits and food :). Toffee also reminded me of some caramel. Sweets we have in Brazil. There, we call. Anyway, even though toffee’s recipe origin is unknown, it is possible to say that this sweet got really popular during the 19. Century, especially because slave labour made sugar and treacle quite accessible. I bought a small package of original toffee at a Thorntons&...

Sweet Exchange: Shortcake
http://sweet-exchange.blogspot.com/2013/04/shortcake.html
Quinta-feira, 4 de abril de 2013. I don't mind having both! Buttery golden shortcakes for me to taste. Had a great time and will definitely get some more! It is said that shortcake biscuits were invented in Scotland during the 12. That said, I decided to grab some biscuits and also some caramel shortcakes at the market. I had the first one with a cup of coffee and the second one just after dinner tonight. The caramel shortcakes were also a nice experience, though I liked them a little less. Guess I w...

http://sweet-exchange.blogspot.com/2013/03/humbugs.html
Sexta-feira, 29 de março de 2013. Humbugs brought back so many memories from my childhood! Well, I have to say I decided to try humbugs just because I read they were mint-flavoured. I bought a small package of them at Sainsbury’s and went for the surprise. Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures of me. Eating when I was a child. This one is probably. From 1995 or 1996, when we were on a family trip. To the beach. Thank you dad for catching me. On such a great angle! My own sweet memoir. Humbugs seems t...

Sweet Exchange: Trifle
http://sweet-exchange.blogspot.com/2013/03/trifle.html
Terça-feira, 19 de março de 2013. Great recipe to cook with my grandmas back in Brazil, maybe? Trifle is a typical English dessert, cooked very often during Christmas time, which contains thick custard, sponge cake, fruits and whipped cream. The ingredients are arranged in layers and moisturised with juice or even alcoholic beverages. This dessert has become very popular in England during the 17. Dish illustrations in "Mrs. Beeton's Book. Of Household Management". The trifle. I also found it interesting ...

Sweet Exchange: Rhubarb Cake
http://sweet-exchange.blogspot.com/2013/03/rhubarb-cake.html
Sexta-feira, 1 de março de 2013. That sad awkward moment when you think you were eating crumble cake, but you were not. My discovering (and a little disappointing) experience. After I started this blog, I decided to make a list on all the sweets and desserts I wanted to try. One of them was the crumble. From my research, I found out that it could be a dessert itself, or that it may be used in cakes, for example. Even though it wasn't crumble on top, I totally. Reccomend this rhubarb cake! And how was it?
