The Sub5 El Tour De Tucson Program. Our target event is The Palm Desert Century in November, which is a 100 mile race. The goal is to complete the ride in under 5 hours, thus the Sub5 name. Here are a few more details on the Sub5 program. Depending on how many need kits we will place an order shortly after the program starts. Tour De Rancho Santa Fe / Tamarack loop. This route is an expanded version of the Super Z. It adds more climbing and a new road around RSF. After the usual Quail Garden trek we head up to a modified Tamarack loop for some (hopefully) fun new roads. Med - Hard Tempo ride up the coast. Focus on endurance skills such as pacing and rolling nutrition. Meet at 7:45 for a 8:00 roll time. 85 miles with 2100 of climbing.
