Thursday, 13 August 2015. Species from the Fish River Canyon. Labels: . MESEMBS. 13 August 2015 at 21:52. Beautiful plant Alain. I really like the bluish grey color of the leaves. The leaf color is a great contrast to the bright yellow flowers. Very nice! 15 August 2015 at 03:13. I like the shape of the leaves on this plant. A growing sculpture. The dead flowers are a shame but I remove them as soon as possible. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). LITHOPS PSEUDOTRUNCATELLA Multi headed plant.

Succulent Sundae: ANACAMPSEROS RETUSA

http://www.succulentsundae.blogspot.com/2015/08/anacampseros-retusa.html

Monday, 17 August 2015. 17 August 2015 at 17:55. Such a scraggly looking plant with lovely blooms :)! 18 August 2015 at 12:46. I purchased the plant when it was not in flower so I was attracted to its looks. I should remove the dead flower stalks. I do like the flowers. 21 August 2015 at 08:48. Its definitely unique looking, and the flowers are very nice how long do they last? 21 August 2015 at 15:12. I think the flowers only open once. There are lots of buds and it is difficult to tell.

Delosperma Sawdahense flower | Blueskiez

https://blueskiez.wordpress.com/2013/10/16/delosperma-sawdahense-flower

October 16, 2013 in Gardening. I’ve had this plant (compact hybrid version) since the beginning of September 2013, and it seems to be adapting well to our local hot humid environment. After clearing away the old sulking leaves, I am able to better notice the new growth on the plant, and it has even blossomed! We’ll see how it goes… But for now, it still seems to be growing really well. :). Orostachys Boehmeri ‘Keilo’. Garden by the Bay. Lithops y suculentas en Suecia. Blog of a plant-whisperer. Lithops splitting | Blueskiez

https://blueskiez.wordpress.com/2013/08/23/lithops-splitting

August 23, 2013 in Gardening. It appears my plants like to change only when I am away. 1) My sunflower flowered while I was studying in Germany a few years back. Being an annual plant, it had died by the time I returned. I never got to see the flowers… sigh. 2) My Frithia Pulchra bloomed. When I was in Europe this year. By the time I got back, i only managed to see the dried up flower…. 3) When I was in South Korea last week, my sister texted me that my lithops have splitted! I didn’t have high hop...

Repotting results | Blueskiez

https://blueskiez.wordpress.com/2013/08/23/repotting-results

August 23, 2013 in Gardening. Remember this pot of lithops. That I got from the Amsterdam flower market in April 2013? After I got back from Europe, I left it outside my house and has not watered it since. Finally got around to repotting these babies today. One perished since then and another was on its way out too so I only repotted the remaining 20 lithops. Work in progress… Have to carefully pry the plants apart to prevent unnecessary damage to the fine roots. Orostachys Boehmeri ‘Keilo’. You are comm...

Hello from Paris! | Blueskiez

https://blueskiez.wordpress.com/2013/04/27/hello-from-paris

April 27, 2013 in Gardening. Just reached Paris and finally don’t have to depend on the hotel wifi anymore… (I have a France Orange line with data) So I wanted to show all of you my best buy this trip so far! Not sure if they will really bloom in Singapore. The shop owners said yes, but they might have underestimated our tropical weather. Oh well, we shall see soon enough. :). Some shops were selling other variety of plants, including some tropical plants and succulents. I combed the entire flower ma...

Frithia Pulchra bloom! | Blueskiez

https://blueskiez.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/frithia-pulchra-bloom

May 19, 2013 in Gardening. First time seeing a flower bloom on my baby toes! Actually when I received the plant a few months back, I wasn’t able to find much instructions about its care, so I took things into my own hands and watered as I pleased. I must be doing something right, because it has flowered for me! Lol* But it’s ok, I am sure it will bloom again soon. :). It bloomed for a few days and closes up at night. This is the flower at night. Orostachys Boehmeri ‘Keilo’. Garden by the Bay. Hi again&#4...

Crassula Radicans | Blueskiez

https://blueskiez.wordpress.com/2013/09/04/crassula-radicans

September 4, 2013 in Gardening. Bought this tiny Crassula Radicans from Provence Village, Paju, South Korea. It’s really tiny! The pot diameter is just 4cm. The tips of the obovated leaves is a little reddish. Will be more red if I give it more sun. (Photos taken on 4th September 2013). It’s supposed to flower like this. Really looking forward to it flower someday! Have owned it since beginning of August, and it’s still holding well, although I have not much idea about its watering habits yet. Horticultu...

New batch of lithops (Sept 2013). September 4, 2013 in Gardening. Received my new plants from Conos Paradise this afternoon.
