The Council of Canadians, Sudbury Chapter. Founded in 1985, The Council of Canadians is Canada’s largest “bottom-up” citizens’ organization. There are over 70 chapters of the Council across Canada, and Sudbury is the second chapter in Northern Ontario. We promote progressive policies and help to raise awareness on fair trade, clean water, energy and other issues of social and economic concern.
