Wish I had time to get down the road for a really open view of the mountains. But the view from my front yard will have to do. These are exceptional sunset photos. My attempt at photography. Sunday, March 2, 2008. This weekend we visited the city park in Mt. Shasta. The Sacramento River Headwaters are located in the park. Some state and city officials disagree whether the headwaters is the official start of the Sacramento River. Either way, its a great park to visit. The water is FULL of leeches.
