The point one will getcha!: Miami Half Marathon - January 25, 2015
http://thepointonewillgetcha.blogspot.com/2015/05/miami-half-marathon-january-25-2015.html
The point one will getcha! Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Miami Half Marathon - January 25, 2015. For the past 2 years, I have done the Miami Half Marathon. In 2013, Miami was my second ever half marathon, it was a week after my first half marathon. And would qualify me for half fanatics. I didn't eat a banana before the race, and around mile 10, I got a calf cramp that sent me straight to the ground and almost put me out of commission for the duration of the race. But I still finished with a smile on my face.

The point one will getcha!: Ft Lauderdale Valentines Day 5k- February 14, 2015
http://thepointonewillgetcha.blogspot.com/2015/06/ft-lauderdale-valentines-day-5k.html
The point one will getcha! Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Ft Lauderdale Valentines Day 5k- February 14, 2015. It was my plan all along to run the Gasparilla Distance Amber Challenge in Tampa. There aren't a lot of places to plan a 5k course through downtown Ft Lauderdale, so the course was one that I had ran numerous times before. My familiarity with the course helped me to break up the distance a little more and provided some much needed distraction. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Coral Springs Half Mar...

Ogden 1/2 Marathon Recap | The Hungry Runner Girl
http://www.hungryrunnergirl.com/2015/05/ogden-12-marathon-recap.html
Ogden 1/2 Marathon Recap. May 18, 2015. I had the awesome opportunity to be a VIP runner. And it was incredible. The best part about the VIP runners is that a big chunk of the registration for this opportunity is donated to the YOUNG RUNNERS program (a nutrition and exercise program to help young people in our community to be active). The 1/2 marathon started right at 6:45 and the marathon started at 7:15! Long story short I need to wear more clothes. The first half mile was flat followed by a 1/2 mile u...

Running Weight loss Lifestyle Food. Races & Discounts. No One Cares About My. August 7, 2015. Happy weekend fun time! Anything exciting going on? Over here the only excitement is my cat attacking me. And then ignoring me. I think I’ve mentioned this before but when I first started running I would only run on a treadmill. I first used my Grams’ treadmill in her patio. Then, I was using it so often I decided to gather up all my money from my job at Starbucks and buy one for myself. On Amazon the other day&...

ironayla: Keeping this memory

Wednesday, February 1, 2006. This is what Mark and I wrote when his dad passed away and it is something I want to keep :. February 1, 2006. Darcy's answer was of course, "So I can get better times and maybe, someday, qualify for Hawaii." My Dad would shake his head and then ask her, "Are you enjoying it or just flogging yourself? It is life and after all we don't live for ever. We are simply borrowing the path of life for a short time. Darcy has a great group of friends and blogies. The Hungry Runner Girl.

Running Weight loss Lifestyle Food. Races & Discounts. Half Marathon Training Plan Level 1. August 5, 2015. Today I have a great half marathon training plan to share. In the beginning of the year I asked you (my readers, friends, enemies, frenemies, strangers on the street),. What are YOUR goals for the year? And a lot of the answers involved running goals. I noticed the most common goal was to either. A Run my first half marathon! B Run a sub 2 hour half marathon! It’s a 12 week half marathon training p...

Tales From the Back of the Pack. Tales From the Back of the Pack. Monday, March 21, 2011. The Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Marathon. Otherwise know as the LA Marathon March 20, 2011. I fully admit at least half of it was my fault. I hadn't trained properly. I'd gained 6lbs over the holidays and couldn't shake them off. I stayed up way too late on too many nights watching Jersey Shore reruns. I just wasn't motivated. But first things first and that means the pre-race Expo and packet pick up! Were wh...
