After going through a strict Macrobiotic phase for about 3 years, I’ve become a little more lax and eat some dairy and seafood when there are no vegan options. Environmental and ethical causes of vegan diet came as an afterthought for me. They remain secondary in my list of reasons to stay vegan. Last updated: March 31, 2012.
