Taking the Sharp End. I am not moving to Canada (and neither should you). November 9, 2016. Middot; by pgcooke. Middot; in Life. Middot; 5 Comments. I am not moving to Canada… Like 60 million other Americans, I am not happy with the results of this election. Taking the Sharp End. February 5, 2014. Middot; by pgcooke. Middot; in Life. Middot; Leave a comment. As an educator, I am constantly giving feedback, but I don’t always have the opportunity to receive feedback myself. I receive feedback from students from time to time, as well as the feedback of administrators who observe my class occasionally, but I don’t often get to see the long-term effects of my teaching, coaching, and mentoring. Taking the Sharp End. Music and Memories – Part III. September 23, 2015. Middot; by pgcooke. Middot; in Life. Middot; Leave a comment. Today is Alan’s birthday. Last night I had dreams of him. They weren’t fun… they weren’t of the person I want to remember… of the person my family and I miss so sorely. We miss you, Alan. Crank up the volume, sit back, and remember the good times with all you are missing:. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). Ports in a Storm.

I needed to get out those 55 days. For me, every day out was a session in vertical therapy. But how many of those days were truly good days? I won’t be climbing 55 days this winter. H...Two wee...

Taking the Scenic Route

Taking the Scenic Route. Follow our adventures as we take the scenic route through life. Friday, July 25, 2014. We took a day trip to Buck Island right off the St. Croix coast. Kennedy designated Buck Island a National Monument because it is so beautiful. We enjoyed its gorgeous beach and great snorkeling. Chickens were everywhere, including a few mommas with baby chicks. Point Udall (and Jack and Isaac's Beach)- the easternmost point of US soil. Dave caught this beautiful sunrise on the morning we left.

Random bloggage on life. Saturday, 18 February 2012. Wednesday at Bare Soul we talked about Heaven and Hell. On the tables was a piece of paper and I wanted to share with you all. I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell - you see, I have. Friends in both places. Mark Twain. Why do you think all belief systems talk about the afterlife? Cause they need to look forward to something. What you think happens to you when you die? Unpleasant things go, is this Hell? What would you send into room 101?

A Single Step

Friday, 22 April 2011. Good morning all, and a happy Easter weekend - it's going to be a warm one apparently. I'm in a rather good mood this morning, I've got two reasons to be very happy. The first reason is that on Wednesday 20th April I FINALLY managed to sucessfully give blood! It was no trouble at all this time, I did get a bit wobbly afterwards though - I get the feeling that I must have gone a bit of a funny colour as three of the Nurses descended on me at once! 315 ( -2.5. I'VE LOST A STONE :D.
