And this comes after her giving us a pretty rough stint there towards the beginning (weeks 5 through 9 maybe? Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I'm getting back into it. Or trying to at least :). 1 Layne loves to lay on the couch and babble at the cushion. I have no idea what she is looking at, but she is at her happiest flat on her back looking at the cushion next to her head. Jackson and Cody are getting along so wonderfully now. Not that they didn't get along before, but Cody just had no use for Jackson. Cherishing the moments of our lives. Saturday, November 22, 2008. I love the things he says. I love Jackson's age right now.he's so verbal and says the cutest things. For example, randomly in the car today he says, "Mommy.I want to be a train when I grow up. So I can go over mountains.and on train tracks.and on hills.". We've also started talking about Santa Claus, and right now the one thing on his list is "a big dinosaur with the sharp teeth." I think the sharp teeth are a must. So funny!

Friday, August 7, 2009. So we finally got into a pediatrician here - a month after we were supposed to but whatever. They said it didn't matter. I think I will like this practice, only two docs so there is a chance they will remember who we are, unlike the last place in Philly. It's a little clinical for me - no toys or anything in the waiting room (who DOES that with a ped office? But efficient and I liked it a lot. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Layne Elizabeth arrived early Monday morning the 29th. She was born at 5:45 am weighing 6lbs, 9.5 oz and was 18.25 inches long. For being a "big baby" according the ultrasound she ended up even smaller than Nolan started! We were more than surprised. She also is the spitting image of Nolan. Completely. As in when she came out we were totally taken aback by the sameness. It's pretty cool though. Since we think Nolan is adorable it works for her as well :). With Auntie Sara :).

Thursday, November 12, 2009. Our friend's one year old has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. My friend knit her two gorgeous hats at my request so when they arrived today I threw one on Layne to make sure they'd fit since her head is bigger than, well, everyone's :).
