Here is our attempt to keep those loved ones near and far up to date on our lives out in 'The Sticks'.Enjoy. Monday, July 23, 2012. A few weeks ago, Lance and I were asked to plan the activities for about 160 teenage youth at their annual Youth Conference. Amid the bzillion other things we had going on, I managed to meet up with one of my highly creative friends about 5 days before the event. We came up with some really great activities for the "Hillbilly Olympics". Posted by Graham Crackers. Posted by G...

Plumb Crazy!: November 2008
http://plumbcrazyfamily.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 16, 2008. Sarah started kindergarten as a four year old and had wanted to know if she was four and a half yet. Being the good mom that I am I told that she was MORE than four and a half, she was four and five sixths! A while later at bedtime she started to cry and tell me that she didn't want to be four-five-six anymore because everyone laughed and told her it wasn't a real age. Poor thing! So she is Thrilled with a capital "T" to be just plain five! Happy Birthday, gobble-gobble! Around...

http://plumbcrazyfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 7, 2009. While driving the cub scout carpool. (I can't believe Daniel is in scouts! I think that makes me feel older than almost anything else so far.). Friend, Eli: I think they should give out toy Yodas with every Toyota. And these cars should all be green. A nice discussion followed. Eight years old = Star Wars on the brain! Thursday, December 3, 2009. Sarah: I'm all ready for high school. Mom: Oh, really? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). JJ, Heather and Lucy. Green Room Paintings (Patrick).

Plumb Crazy!: April 2009
http://plumbcrazyfamily.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2009. Pictures I uploaded months ago from our trip to Mexico, long before swine flu, but never captioned. Enjoying the beautiful view. Eric, who this particular day would not take of his crocs, even for swimming. It was really funny because the shoes float and his feet would just bob up to the surface. Melanie loves the water! I believe I included this picture for cousin Katie, who had recently been posting about critters. Relaxing side by side at the pool. Relaxing with Uncle Bryan.

Here is our attempt to keep those loved ones near and far up to date on our lives out in 'The Sticks'.Enjoy. Monday, November 18, 2013. This past weekend, I spoke in church about Service. We all could be a little nicer, kinder, and more helpful. Here it is for those of you that missed it. Compassion for others has always been a fundamental characteristic of members of The Church of. Of Latter-day Saints. The prophet Alma said:. Savior may I learn to love thee, walk the path that thou hast shown. In Novem...

Plumb Crazy!: August 2009
http://plumbcrazyfamily.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. We also brought the kayak. At one point we had six kids on the kayak riding waves. There were multiple capsizings, but no major injuries. We were having so much fun that we didn't notice it was getting late until the sun was setting. Beautiful! We finished off the night at In-n-Out Burger. We sat outside and enjoyed the mid-80's air. Saturday, August 30, 2008. It's so hard to believe we're back in school! The summer goes by awfully fast when we start back in August-. And have a baby! All ready to walk to the first day of school! Rachel, 3rd grade! That's how old I was when we moved to Poway. She has had the same teacher for the past two years and was a little nervous to meet her new teacher, Mrs. Scott. Daniel, 1st grade! The only one in the district! I had the option to send Sarah this year or next year and really struggled with the...

Plumb Crazy!: July 2009
http://plumbcrazyfamily.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 6, 2009. The zoo has a new elephant exhibit that includes huge animal sculptures for the kids to climb on. It's funny because all the pictures I posted I realized were of fake animals. We really did go to see real animals, and enjoyed watching them. The big statues just make for better pictures with the kids I guess! Spencer was almost crushed. It was a close one. There was a hulu hoop contest and Sarah was determined, but lost out to an older girl. Plumbs and polar bears. And laughed. W...
