A Barron Brain: February 2013
http://meghanbarron.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 February 2013. A Reflection: Sense and Sensibility. Is Jane Austen’s first novel, and I must say has a much more tragic element to the romance than her later work. This is not my favorite Austen novel. I find the constant heart-break of the two sisters, Elinor. To be depressing and slightly tedious. What I found interesting about this novel, however, is the comparison between the two sisters. The brilliance of Austen titling the book Sense and Sensibility. Up Next: A Tale of Two Cities.

Friday, 5 September 2014. How to Plan your own Wedding (Part 1). Planning a wedding is a cinch, trust me. There is very little money can’t buy, including someone to plan your wedding. Just hire a wedding planner and you are done—easy peasy! Buy a book…or two… and register for one of those websites (I chose www.theknot.com as it matched one of my books that I had), and start planning. Even that sounds easy enough. Secret Information that the books don’t tell you:. First of all, you have to figure out what...

Tuesday, 28 January 2014. A Reflection: Brideshead Revisisted. Brideshead Revisisted was a fast-paced novel with the era of the 20’s written into the language and words, while the characters mirror a world that is changing. We have the base of tradition through the grand estate of Brideshead Castle, and the religion which holds captive each member of Sebastion’s family, juxtaposed with the new world, the war, and the beginning of women’s liberation. Up Next: Moby Dick.for real this time! An actor, dancer...

Monday, 22 April 2013. Meet Mya (pronounced My-ah- and yes, we recently changed the spelling), the newest addition to our family. Thursday, 19 December 2013. How to Remain Stress Free When Faced with Christmas Shopping. It has come to my attention, upon entering a mall, that some people are a wee-bit stressed during the holiday season. The disheveled scramble to get the “perfect” gift (or any gift for that matter) leaves us all in our own little stressed out world that has us elbowing others or (in my case) being elbowed by others. Not to mention, the amount of cash we are dishing out in order to please others! Now that you are don...
