UK climber Steve Crowe (a regular visitor to Catalunya) has informed us that, due to the presence of a rare species of plant, three of the classic hard routes in Tres Ponts have been 'banned' by the authorities. These are: El Segre. 8a), Els Inconformistes. 8a ) and L'Alternativa. It seems likely that the affected routes in Tres Ponts will soon be stripped. Posted by Lleida Climbs.

Aqui ves al lloro. Que hi ha un paset. Dijous, 18 de juny de 2015. Primer cop que baixo a la Reina Mora a la tarda d'estiu. Recomanable; no hi ha ningú i ombra a partir de les 16:30-17:00h segons el tram. Anem tres, o sigui que hem de fer via. Escalfem repetint Sòc un pardal 7a. Decotat, peró que creiem que el 7a ja li va bé. Fem L1 L2 quedan uns bons 35m. de via. Com que hem d'anar per fenya em munto la Anys biònics 7b ,. Al diedre de la Perigeo. Enfilem la bonica vall de La Clarée , fins al camping de Foncouverte, d'on surt el camí que puja cap al refugi de Chardonnet. Bon preu i barbacoes a disposició, dues bones raons més per a fer-hi nit. A més ningú posa cap problema en marxar a la tarda, baixant d'escalar, i passant per la dutxa abans. Perfecte. I disfrutant a L5. Dues vistes de la famosa travessa. Coll de la Barraca.

Patxi Usobiaga esta a tope haciendo complementos relacionados con el entreno y escalada, ha hecho cepillos muy buenos y una tabla muy práctica para calentar y entrenar, magnesio y otras cosas qe esta en en proceso. Aparte esta escalando otra vez en su línea, volvió a encadenar 9a y hasta 8b a vista este año, recordemos fue el primer escalador en realizar 8c A vista. Tom Zappe has added a further two new routes to his list of impressive climbs on sector 'Xinxetes' (Pages 88-89 in Lleida Climbs 2) at Sant Llorenç de Montgai. Tom says that the rock on the lower section (common to both routes) needs careful handling at the moment, but will certainly settle down with more ascents.
