Petersham Nurseries
http://www.brightfieldnotes.com/petersham-nurseries
May 18, 2015. Bex discovered Petersham Nurseries. On Buzzfeed of all places. Gotta love the internet. On Saturday, the sunshine was a perfect excuse to “escape the city” for a bit and take a bus to all the greenery. It was so beautiful. There was even a wedding reception in one of the greenhouses and now that’s stuck in my head as the perfect idea. I plan to name mine. I’ll be fully invested in their future once they have names. If you have suggestions I’m happy to hear them! Boris, Finn and Clark. Looks...

9 Utterly Adorable iPhone Cases
http://oddlylovely.com/9-utterly-adorable-iphone-cases
Oddly Lovely is all about the little, simple joys in life, like easy-to-do recipes, thoughtfully curated outfits, beauty tips, and pet advice. 9 Utterly Adorable iPhone Cases. For the last week I’ve been painstakingly trying to select a new iPhone case. My old one, a gold and teal polka dot case. That I picked up at Paper Source, has started to chip and fall apart – not so adorable, huh? The problem is, there are just too many choices in iPhone case styles! The Queen of Pentacles. Feathers / Birds of Pray.

Glamping in Gairloch | Emma Explores Scotland
https://emmaexploresscotland.wordpress.com/2015/07/18/glamping-in-gairloch
Family friendly day trips and holidays in Scotland. With a two year old, who we had just started toilet training two days earlier, and a 9 week old baby we set off to Sands Campsite. Soothed this tired mummy. I just enjoyed walking along its white sand, looking out towards Skye and back towards the magnificent Torridon mountains. As well as a beach to explore, there is also a games room at the campsite for those wet days and a fantastic play park. Perched on the edge of Loch Ewe, around a 15 minute drive...

A Winter Break in Argyll | Emma Explores Scotland
https://emmaexploresscotland.wordpress.com/2015/01/23/a-winter-break-in-argyll
Family friendly day trips and holidays in Scotland. A Winter Break in Argyll. Some of my highlights from the trip were: the Oban Chocolate Company Cafe. I’d highly recommend it if you’re in the area, the hot chocolate was divine); the area around Loch Linnhe. Particularly picturesque Port Appin. And the wonderful Pierhouse Restaurant. The walk up Beinn Lora. With stunning views across to Mull (I kicked myself for leaving my camera card at home that day); and exploring the shores of Loch Etive. Emma, you ...

Muted Mornings: August 2015
http://www.mutedmornings.co.uk/2015_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 30 August 2015. I feel like I've been sort of lazy with reading over the last month, but I'm still on track with my Goodreads 2015 Reading Challenge. And I have, in fact, managed to read a few more books from my Summer to-read list! The Catcher in the Rye. So, essentially, I don't agree with the above blurb. I love reading classics, and most of the time I get why they're classics even if I don't personally love. Them But this one? I read The Goldfinch. Did it, but rather it all centres around why.

The Isle of Seil Revisited | Emma Explores Scotland
https://emmaexploresscotland.wordpress.com/2015/01/04/isle-of-seil-revisited
Family friendly day trips and holidays in Scotland. The Isle of Seil Revisited. Back in spring last year I journeyed out to the Corryvreckan Whirlpool with Seafari Sea Adventures and wrote about my experience for Airdeny Chalets. It was a wonderful wildlife boat trip despite the very grey weather that clung to the afternoon. At the end of last month, we took a trip back to the Isle of Seil on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed the landscape of this former slate island wrapped in the winter sunshine. You a...
