I had to make an offering of 12 new spools of beautiful thread, but we finally came to terms. It is the Christmas season and I have a LOT of gifts to make! It’s sooo close to the 4th of July, which would have been a perfect date for his birthday! His mommy and daddy met, fell in love, and married while in the US Army. Used a rail fence pattern.
