The Rice Family: My smartphone
http://ricefamily-rice.blogspot.com/2012/04/my-smartphone.html
Home, Where the Journey Begins. Monday, April 23, 2012. So I am loving my new technology. This morning the kiddos had a 2 hour delay and I was able to lay in bed and read my scriptures and ensign on my phone. I can even highlight! I love that scripture references are just a finger tap away too! Technology is amazing. I am hoping it will help me to keep my resolution to do a better job at daily scripture study. So far so good! The Rice Family: March 2012
http://ricefamily-rice.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Home, Where the Journey Begins. Saturday, March 24, 2012. What is that SMELL? I have to say I was a little upset and the terror from last week crept back into my brain. I couldn't smell a thing and I had been cleaning all day, so what could he be smelling? Well, that is until the next morning. Headed to the laundry room in the basement with the dirty clothes I opened the basement door and was slammed in the face with a HORRIBLE, HORRENDOUS smell! Thursday, March 15, 2012. Monday, March 12, 2012. Age 7 Fa...

Friday, July 24, 2009. Well people, here we are again. I figure that I have to post at least once a month , and this month has been AAAAAWESOME! We went to Hawaii for 8 days, left the kids with grandparents and off we went on our first adventure just Nate and I (and Michelle and Eric:) Our first adventure without kids. I was so worried I would miss them so much (especially Abby), which I did.BUT we had a great time and we knew they were having a blast with grandma and grandpa! In the afternoon we went to...

Remember When...: Theater Class
http://ctfackrell.blogspot.com/2009/09/theater-class.html
Thursday, September 3, 2009. During the summer the boys participated in the Sommers Village Players. It is a small theater group for kids. They divided them up in groups according to ages and had 2-hour classes every day for two weeks and at the end they put on a play. It was wonderful! This year it was "Why Mosquitos buzz in peoples ears". I was not sure if Justin was going to like it because when we play theater at our house he never looks very excited about it. However, he loved it!

Remember When...: Swimming
http://ctfackrell.blogspot.com/2009/09/swimming.html
Friday, September 4, 2009. At the beginning of the Spring we decided to sign up for swimming lessons. The kids WERE NOT thrilled, but they know that they have to take them so they can be safe (and because mom thinks it will be fun:). So, here we go at the end of June, thinking it will be so fun to go swimming outside BUT IT IS SOOOO COLD! Poor kids- they already didn't want to go and then you add freezing water to the mix! Oh well, Justin did GUPPIES (AGAIN! Look how cold they look!

The Rice Family: April 2011
http://ricefamily-rice.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Home, Where the Journey Begins. Friday, April 29, 2011. Thursday, April 28, 2011. I think I have enough diapers to last until the 6 month mark! Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Ansley, oh Ansley. Ansley is obsessed with playing with Jerry's karate sword, (it's a wood practice sword for anyone wondering what the heck is going on at the Rice's). She is almost as obsessed as he is. Today she was holding it and says, "Daddy I want to see you fight with your sword for real.". Jerry, "Well that is true.". Covington,...

The Rice Family: February 2011
http://ricefamily-rice.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Home, Where the Journey Begins. Sunday, February 27, 2011. February 27, 2011. Friday, February 4, 2011. Calling in the National Guard. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. It's an icy mess! I think I'd rather have gotten Chicago's 2 feet of powder than this nasty mess. I would also like to thank the University of Hartford for literally cancelling classes less than 20 minutes before the start of Jerry's class. Nothing like a needless drive on the ice covered roads. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Age 7 Favorite color:...
