The sudden influx of new arrivals had taken all of them - including DG, who regarded her tablet warily as the dots on the maps appeared and disappeared with alarming rapidity - by surprise. Her parents again. She'd been snatched away to Taxon before they'd had time to rebuild a relationship that she'd all but forgotten. And Az. Az needed.

This sudden influx was impossible to not notice, even from someone whose social life is ordinarily quite limited. Ever the boy scout, Dan quickly works to help the newcomers, drawing out large depictions of the city map and tablets. The tram line is making its leisurely way through the city, and Alexis is alternately looking around at the sudden bustle in the city and down at her tablet. She looks hopeful, despite the superficial attempts to keep her expression calm. There's a chance that her dad could show up, isn't there?
