July 8, 2014. July 4th was Michelle’s 50th birthday and the initial reason why this whole adventure started to be planned 18 months ago :-) . Murray and I had to head into Florence to get our wedding made legal for our return to Australia, so we did a little sight seeing whilst there. July 3rd, 2014. Wonderful memories have been made. July 5, 2014. My wedding day in beautiful Tuscany. Awoke to the blue sky shinning through over the Tuscan valley. After a cooked breakfast made by Michelle we hit the markets to buy the flowers for the wedding, with Nicole (our interpreter for the wedding and Maria’s {owner of the Villa} daughter. June 22, 2014. Chelle and I arrived yesterday, and went on a 3 hour food tasting tour-great sights and delicious foods…gelato OMG. We picked up our blurry-eyed men from the airport this morning, and then I dragged Murray sightseeing for 4 hours before he said-I need a rest (damn this 24hour flights). We had a lovely experience at the albergue last night: the paella was huge-have not seen a pan that big before! After dinner we all got to sing a song from our country in front of others:we sung Waltzing Maltida… Then there was a pilgrim poem:about walking, lack of sleep, food and alcohol, and arriving in Santiago with fabulous memories.was lovely.
