Simply Enchanted: May 2015
http://crystalboyack.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
A glimpse into our lives. Thursday, May 14, 2015. Cam and I couldn't decide what picture we like more. 10 months and a day. At 10 months Rachel is a CHARACTER. She has all sorts of expressions, sounds, preferences, games and giggles. I wish I could just follow her around all day with a camera and catch all the cute stuff she does (but of course she moves quicker than a lens can capture). Big news. At the beginning of this month she rolled over for the first time! She does not like taking naps. We hav...

Simply Enchanted: June 2014
http://crystalboyack.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
A glimpse into our lives. Sunday, June 29, 2014. 38 weeks - the size of a leek. It's okay - I didn't know what a leek was either. What's the doctor saying? I'm dilated to a fingertip and starting to efface. The baby is head down but hasn't dropped into the pelvis. I should have a good 7 pounder. It used to be worse. After a particularly bad night Cameron surprised me with a body pillow. I don't know how I ever lived without it! None, thanks to good genes. What type of question is that! Well that's it for...

Simply Enchanted: Birthday Party
http://crystalboyack.blogspot.com/2015/07/birthday-party.html
A glimpse into our lives. Saturday, July 18, 2015. I don't know what is more surreal; that my daughter is a year old or that I'm now the mom throwing birthday parties. We had a cup cake decorating party (at 10 in the morning. when Cam could be there. cupcakes for breakfast, yum! 4 dozen cupcakes, 6 colors of frosting, skittles, hot tamales, paper and markers. of course I'm biased because I planned it, but sounds like an awesome party to me. We did not plan the matching shirts/pants. She's a little walker.

Simply Enchanted: January 2015

A glimpse into our lives. Sunday, January 25, 2015. Motherhood is the best! I try to catch the joy of being a mom on camera but it just doesn't come close. Nevertheless, here are the results of my attempts:. Tummy time is always more fun when mom joins. The world is VERY exciting. She loves cuddling to papa and falling asleep. Came was asked to babysit. This is what I came home to :). Quality time with her aunt. The cousins LOVE her. She gives me this look all the time. She LOVES her dad. I always day dr...

Simply Enchanted: November 2014

A glimpse into our lives. Friday, November 28, 2014. A Love Story: How We Met. Morgan, Utah. August 2, 2010. Why do I remember the date? It was my grandpa's 90th birthday and I burned down his kitchen. Happy Birthday Gramps! It was late at night and I was cooking crepes so the following morning we could have a delicious breakfast with the Mormon missionaries. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. When I turned around the oil was steaming. I turned down the stove and turned my back on the oven again. What do you do.

Petersons Never Give Up: "Dr. Peterson, you're needed in delivery room 3"
http://seanjennie.blogspot.com/2015/07/dr-peterson-youre-needed-in-delivery.html
Petersons Never Give Up. Monday, July 20, 2015. Dr Peterson, you're needed in delivery room 3". Coming home and not having to study, and also getting paid for all his hard work! It’s really nice! I even went to the mall last week and made some impulse buys (something I haven’t done in a long time! Brett has never done anything like this before! We spend most of our days outside regardless of the temperature, so the kids enjoy popsicles a lot! Alana crawled into Brett’s bed one night at bedtime =). She is...

A glimpse into our lives. Friday, May 30, 2014. Last Day of School! Yes it is true, the school year is over. For those of you who don't know, I've spent the last year teaching at a Montessori/Suzuki school as their Suzuki violin specialist. As the Suzuki violin teacher I had over 200 violin students I saw 2X each week (grades 2-8), and conducted 3 orchestras. It was a blast! I definitely have a new respect for teachers - I cannot believe what they do year after year after year. Teacher: What is half of 20.
