The MGF Team Cycle Taiwan. The diary of our journey from the south to the north of Taiwan by bicycle. Day 1 – 65km ‘Warm-up’. Day 3 – 83km to Chenggon Township. Day 2 – Up hills and Downhills. Climbing the mountains and coasting the gorges of the Taiwanese east coast is what the morning of day two had in store. The pressure was on as this was our first of two days over 100 km. An early rise was on the cards to allow us enough time to prepare our kit and to get some breakfast before we set off at 7:00 am.

A bit of a lie in this morning as we have much shorter distance to cover. Every morning is a battle trying to find clothing for that day! I feel like a real traveller! We headed down to breakfast at 7am and were delighted to find fried eggs and real jam! After 10km we regrouped at a local fishing port! Check out the photo!
