Pink is the new Awesome: January 2009
http://carpedeitrick.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Pink is the new Awesome. Saturday, January 17, 2009. Today was a very fun day because Kate's sister Emily is here visiting, and we have been doing some interesting things. We enjoy having her here, and she is loving holding her nieces. This morning, we gave Olivia her first bath. Not yet a "dunk in the water and splash the bubbles" bath, but a "Daddy holds her while Mommy wipes her off with a cloth" bath. In the end, she looks good, and feels like a movie star. Monday, January 12, 2009. Aunt Janet. J...

Pink is the new Awesome: Maddie's Birthday Extravaganza
http://carpedeitrick.blogspot.com/2009/08/maddies-birthday-extravaganza.html
Pink is the new Awesome. Thursday, August 20, 2009. The festivities started off with a trip to Baltimore with our friends the Colts. Here is a picture of Maddie and Declan at the dolphin show in the Aquarium. A dolphin in the show. I think it was saying, "so long, and thanks for all the fish.". But I can't be sure. Maddie had a hard time with the candles. . . But not so with the presents. This was one of the first presents that she opened,. Bethany and Steve look on approvingly. View my complete profile.

Pink is the new Awesome: Let me catch thee up
http://carpedeitrick.blogspot.com/2009/03/let-me-catch-thee-up.html
Pink is the new Awesome. Sunday, March 22, 2009. Let me catch thee up. Wow, has it been a long time since last we blogged! Our little family has done quite a lot. And I am sure you are more than eager. To hear about it. Right? For starters, Maddie brushed up on her ninja skills. Then, we had our good friends from college, Marci and Ryan come for a weekend with their son, Wyatt. Then, Maddie learned to walk in heels. Then, Janet came to visit us, but ended up in the ER for a few days. I love your blog!

Tales from the Hood: September 2013
http://stevenstacy1.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tales from the Hood. The goings-on from our neck of the treeless woods. Saturday, September 14, 2013. After John Williams came out and conducted his never-fail National Anthem, he introduced the evening's narrator, Julie Andrews. The name meant nothing to the kids, but as soon as Ms Andrews came out on stage and was featured in the jumbo-trons scattered throughout the amphitheater, L's eye lit up. Daddy," she said. "She looks an awful lot like Maria from Do-Re-Mi. Kiss a Wookie; kick a droid! Like they w...

Tales from the Hood: April 2014
http://stevenstacy1.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Tales from the Hood. The goings-on from our neck of the treeless woods. Saturday, April 19, 2014. Smile When You Say Cheese. Two pounds of Swiss cheese, the better part of a bottle of sauvignon blanc, and bagettes well past their prime, all coupled over a flaming canister of neon-colored jelly - you've got yourself an Alpine adventure! All the more so for Mom and Dad with a generous ramakin of German Kirsch on the side for good measure. (Just to help soften the bread, of course.). Links to this post.

Tales from the Hood: November 2013
http://stevenstacy1.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Tales from the Hood. The goings-on from our neck of the treeless woods. Saturday, November 16, 2013. Documenting the Crimes of the Oleander Posse. I took the kids on a walk around the neighborhood this afternoon. As I was walking I realized I had my smart phone with me and started playing around with it. I sent Stacy a few pics from our walk, but that got boring quick, so I tried to make it a little more interesting. I'm fairly convinced, on the other hand, that this rarely ever happens. Tales from the Hood. The goings-on from our neck of the treeless woods. Thursday, December 4, 2014. Lobster Teriyaki and Other Feats of Culture - Day 5. Year in and year out the Saturday of Patten Pioneer Days is the grand finale and wraps up the week's events. On Saturday there are not one, but two. Generally the hardest part of the day is starting it. Let the festivities begin! Not quite sure what to make of northen Maine culture. Am I the only one who finds this disturbing? The same band as always.

Tales from the Hood: March 2014
http://stevenstacy1.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tales from the Hood. The goings-on from our neck of the treeless woods. Sunday, March 30, 2014. Kings for a Day. Last Saturday Stacy and the kids got the royal treatment. Poppa, whose name, as far a N is concerned, has for some reason now morphed to "Pops", managed to score some Kings tickets fit for a monarchist. These weren't just good seats with adequate oxygen levels - these were front-row seats, right up against the glass, just feet from the goalie! Flat N got in without a ticket! Links to this post.
