Pinot and Prayers: February 2013
http://www.pinotandprayers.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2013. I go back to work on Friday. I will miss my sweet sweet 6 week old baby boy. I will not miss my cheetah print slippers, pajama pants, or smelling like breastmilk. Actually, I still may smell like breastmilk. Sorry coworkers. My 18 month old terrorist is going through the terrible 2's. Is this normal? I need to lose 30 lbs by Friday when I go back to work. Shit. To try to lose 30 lbs by Friday I signed up for the gym. This deserves a post of its own. Thursday, February 14, 2013.

Pinot and Prayers: Surviving....
http://www.pinotandprayers.com/2014/04/surviving.html
Tuesday, April 1, 2014. On most days I am in straight up survival mode. Which frightens me, because I am barely surviving and we are about to add 1 to the mix. My day starts at 4:30. No one should have to wake up at that hour unless you are catching a plane to Fiji, or somewhere equally awesome. I get ready, pack lunches, stare at the coffee and wish I wasn't that annoying pregnant lady who won't drink caffeine. I am out the door by 6. I have learned a few tricks to make my busy life a bit easier. Fi...

Pinot and Prayers: August 2012
http://www.pinotandprayers.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 4, 2012. The day my little brother got married. Scott and Kristin have been dating since she was 15. I guess it was about time, but it didn't make it any easier. How was my little brother getting married? But it feels really good that he is married to someone so great. Kristin and I were born on the same day, 4 years apart. We are very much alike. Type A, bitches, with good hearts. Isn't that how Virgo is described? There isn't a bitch I love more in this world. This was the seating chart.

Pinot and Prayers: June 2013
http://www.pinotandprayers.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 5, 2013. This post is dedicated to my sister-in-law. The sweet sweet girl that I watched grow up and become such a beautiful woman. The girl who is the most fashionable, the queen of crafting, and makes food too pretty to eat. The girl who loves to say eww when I tell her tales of pregnancy and motherhood. The girl who one little baby is going to be lucky enough to call Mom. Congrats Scott and Kristin! I am giddy just thinking about the both of you as parents. We can't wait for December!

http://thesimplelifeofdd.blogspot.com/2014/12/taco-scramble.html
The Simple Life of Delta Daisies. Thursday, December 11, 2014. Sunday morning, we were craving Taco Scramble, so I got up and whipped us up some. I have not gotten this recipe from a website, so I just alter and adjust it as I go. It's super easy and filling, so feel free to serve it alone, but my husband wanted toast and grits, so I served it with that. 1 pound of sausage, ( You can use whatever kind you like.). 1/2 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Four green onions chopped. 1/2 white onion chopped.

The Simple Life of Delta Daisies : My First Half Marathon
http://thesimplelifeofdd.blogspot.com/2014/12/my-first-half-marathon.html
The Simple Life of Delta Daisies. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. My First Half Marathon. It was an awesome weekend. Friday night, Emily and I and our husbands went to the Expo to pick up our bags and bib and walk around. It was filled with running stuff! It was so much fun! We ended the night at Huey's with a couple of burgers and fries to carb up! By mile 11, my hip was throbbing. I tried to ignore it and just focused on my music and making it across the finish line! I'm still a little sore, but not too bad!
