Still, you understand, keeping a lot of the cultural overkill in the run-up to it - but in my mind, the real holiday is December 24, because that's. Perhaps I just think this because I'm not a big drinker, and have forgotten the festivity-extending qualities of eggnog and mulled wine. Clearly someone should bring me some frickin' eggnog.

I just took the battery out of my dead laptop, slid it in again on a whim, and turned it on. The clock thinks we're in 1969, so it obviously crashed hard, but? Quickie - Ravings of a Madman. March 11th, 2009. Quick update. I have a job, yay! Started last friday. So far, so good. I downloaded all of Star Trek: Voyager, and have been watching that. It's also the only application I've ever written in Java, despite learning the language in 1997. As learning experiences go, that's pretty good! Took a bit of the edge off.
