pearls before swine: the blog: June 2008
http://pearlsbeforeswines.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 23, 2008. I havent posted for a few weeks due to having started the NEIS training course, which for the uninitiated is a government funded scheme to help people become self employed. Oh it is really great and such an amazing course and run by a fantastic woman, but boy it makes my head hurt. Hopefully it will mean longevity and success for Pearls Before Swine. But on a lighter and more enjoyable and time wasting note, I stumbled across this. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Klimt 02: Art Jewellery.

Friday, June 4, 2010. 3 - 15 June 2010. Adorning almost every surface of a room, re:production is an exhibition of roughly 500 images that document the practices of a diverse range of contemporary jewellery makers. By removing the ‘end product’ of a work and displaying only the documentation in the form of a series of images, the viewer is given a different perspective from which to understand further the workings of contemporary jewellery practice. Thursday 3 to Tuesday 29 June 2010.

March moments | onepapercrane

Hanami 2011 →. April 12, 2011. On a sunny day in March I treated myself to brunch at a tiny cafe. In Asakusa. I have been meaning to try the scones at Itonawa. For a while now and I finally did it. The presentation was very sweet but those yummy scones didn’t last long! Brunch was followed by a long walk around Asakusa. I love exploring my neighbourhood as there are always random moments or things that I see which make me smile :-). It's all about the scones at Itonowa. Dainty little sugar parcels.

Tuesday, January 3, 2012. These earrings were made by my sister – when she was in a jewellery making faze! I just love them. Alas, one night I came home with one missing. I’ve kept the solo earring to remind me of my sister’s handi-work and her gift to me. Summer Hill, Sydney. January 7, 2013 at 2:56 AM. I wanted to look for Earrings Diamond. Thursday, June 10, 2010. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Where did you get the earrings from? I bought the earrings in the Haight/Ashbury district of San Francisco when I was traveling there with a friend in 2004. I found the history of the area fascinating and really liked the eclectic and funky shops that were there. When I aw these earrings I fell in love with them. When or how did you lose the earrings? Why did you keep the earrings? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Darlinghurst, NSW, Australia. What's in the Box?

Thursday, September 2, 2010. Where did you get the earrings from? My good friend Lucy knew I coveted some Tiffany earrings and that I wasn’t in a position to buy them. She found these great replicas that really summed up what I loved about the design and got them for me as a pressy. When or how did you loose the earring? Why did you keep the lost earring? It was a present from a very good friend and I would never throw it away. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Darlinghurst, NSW, Australia. What's in the Box?
