I’ve found myself, lately, grieving the loss of time. There just never seems to be enough of it. Then I remind myself that, not only am I supposed to trust that God will provide a job, housing, love and all the necessities of life, but he’ll also provide me with the time I need to get things done. I was driving in the rain today, admittedly in a hurry to get to my destination before they closed. I was a little down because another work problem popped up that would require me getting stuck in this city rather than being home with my wife.
