A blog about us. Training for the New Job. May 27, 2013. I started training for the new job I’ll be doing this summer! They put me up in a hotel room, got me a rental car (which was shared with three other girls), and held the classes at the beautiful Mills College campus. Some parts of Oakland are pretty sketchy, but the campus we trained on was really nice. It was my first real business trip! The beautiful campus of Mills College. You can see the medieval looking clock tower in the background. I had my...

Strawberry Days Rodeo | ManningthePost
https://manningthepost.wordpress.com/2013/06/22/strawberry-days-rodeo
A blog about us. June 22, 2013. We spent the evening with Brooke and McKay at the Pleasant Grove Rodeo! It was really cool! I didn’t really know what to expect apart from bucking broncos, but there were a lot of really fun events. A personal favorite was the “Cash Cow” event. All the kids from the stands were called down to the pit where, at the sound of a horn, they chased after two calves that had dollar bills taped all over them. To Idaho I Go. Happy 4th of July 2013! https://manningthepost.wordpress.com/2013/06/01/memorial-day-weekend-2
A blog about us. June 1, 2013. It was a Memorial Day Weekend well spent. We went up Provo canyon with Nate and Caitie and made cobbler, s’mores, and nilla wafers with roasted starbursts inside. We found a great spot by the Provo River trail that had a huge pile of firewood which made for an excellent bon fire. I also spent part of the weekend watching the TV miniseries John Adams. By David McCullough. John Adams just might be my new favorite U.S. president. Jeff and the CPA Exams. To Idaho I Go →. You ar...
