_: Gonkbusters
http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/06/gonkbusters.html
Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Soundtrack. If there were no Star Wars. I would have written a book called Ghostbusters Ruined My Life. Additionally, this blog would be the Great Ghostbusters Synchronicity Project, and my biggest entertainment-related gripe right now would be Sony's shoddy treatment of the two Ectomobiles (they're just sitting on their backlot, rotting away! Truth be told, I may be more dorked about the boys in gray than Luke Skywalker. Proof? I've never written any Star Wars. The ragtime breakd...

_: Frequently Asked Questions
http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/04/frequently-asked-questions.html
Monday, April 17, 2006. So, how do you do this? Do you watch the movies with the sound on while the CD is playing or what? No, that would be too confusing. I mute the movie right after I start the CD. And when do you do that? When do I start each CD? Why don't you just use the DVDs? All that rewinding has got to be annoying. Films and their fans with more respect, I'm sticking with my VHS tapes. Why are you doing all this? Are you that bored and lonely? My friend Nathan suggested I devote the whole thing...

_: Greetings
http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/11/greetings.html
Tuesday, November 07, 2006. Thanks for stopping by the Great Star Wars Synchronicity Project, one nerd's attempt to find an album that synchs up with Star Wars. In the same way Dark Side of the Moon. Synchs up with The Wizard of Oz. Although the GSWSP is not over, regular experimentation has stopped for the time being. This gargantuan waste of time will not officially cease until the album that yields at least sixty synchs with Star Wars. The same number as DSOTM. Synchs is Green Day's American Idiot.

_: Smells Like Droid Spirit
http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/01/smells-like-droid-spirit.html
Monday, January 30, 2006. Smells Like Droid Spirit. SMELLS LIKE DROID SPIRIT". The Nirvana album that dethroned Michael Jackson from the top of the charts in 1991 and changed the landscape of popular music for the next decade. Almost all twelve tracks were hit singles. Gratuitous baby penis on the front cover. As usual, I started this sucker right after the second drumroll in the 20th Century Fox fanfare. The first "mellow" part of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" begins when the Star Wars. While Luke stares in...

http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/02/nuthin-but-droid-thang.html
Monday, February 13, 2006. Nuthin But A Droid Thang. Before we get started here, I'd like to announce the schedule for the week. I would have done this yesterday, but my computer was crippled for most of the day with some sort of virus. 2/13: Dr. Dre - The Chronic. 2/14: Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystyle. 2/15: Cypress Hill - Black Sunday. 2/16: Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet. 2/17: Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die. Again, it's all Star Wars. And try them with Empire. NUTHIN BUT A DROID THANG". In the ...

_: Midnight Star Wars
http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/09/midnight-star-wars.html
Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Weird Al" Yankovic in 3-D. The album that made "Weird Al" a household name, thanks to the mega success of "Eat It." Everybody I knew growing up had a copy of this one - from Kevin Ryan, the kid I was friendly with in fourth grade who moved to Massachusetts, to Kevin Greene, my cousin from Massapequa with the feathered mullet. It was omnipresent, like Santa Claus or the threat of nuclear annihilation. Well, at least I got to listen to In 3-D. Renting The Compleat Al. Six milli...

http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/09/mr-darth-in-iron-lung.html
Monday, September 25, 2006. Mr Darth in the Iron Lung. MR DARTH IN THE IRON LUNG". The phrase "I'll be movin' on" in "I Love Rocky Road" coincides with the death of the Rebel Darth Vader is choking at the beginning of the film. A Jawa shrugs his shoulders after the line "what can I say? Is heard in "The Check's in the Mail.". Princess Leia's hologram is onscreen as the line "you're beautiful! Is heard in "The Check's in the Mail.". The irony, of course, is that Caldor was about the only moderately priced...

_: I Want a New Dewback
http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/2006/09/i-want-new-dewback.html
Wednesday, September 27, 2006. I Want a New Dewback. I WANT A NEW DEWBACK". Dare to Be Stupid. Weird Al" Yankovic's 1985 offering that boasted "Like A Surgeon," "Girls Just Want to Have Lunch," and the landmark title track. Also includes "Yoda," Al's parody of "Lola" sung from the perspective of Luke Skywalker. Funnier than it sounds. The phrase "I can hear your heartbeat" in "Like A Surgeon" coincides with C-3PO looking up to the ceiling, reacting to the noises he hears coming from outside the Tantive IV.
