May 17, 2012. 8220;Well, just try to be positive.” To anybody who has ever dealt with depression, you know how awful this advice can sometimes make you feel. How can I force my mind to be positive when it’s my brain that isn’t functioning properly? 1 Optimists are seldom surprised by trouble: They know it’s part of exisiting. 4 Optimists allow for regular renewal: exercise, laughter, sleep.

Saturday, November 10, 2012. Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy, Ann-i-ver-sar-yyy! My husband's second gift to me on our 8th Anniversary was this video (and I must say, much better than the clip above) :. His first gift- a beautiful "antique" box for me he found at a cute little shop on the street as we were walking. It was only until later I pointed out to him that though I LOVE it, it is a DENTURE box! Not to detract from the sentiment with which he gave it! I love you Lover! November 25, 2012 at 6:07 PM.

The Winger Life: April 2012
http://wingerlife.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 8, 2012. Yesterday Adam took the kids to an Easter egg hunt at Heaven Hills Farm. I stayed home so I could get some rest but I got to hear all about the trip in this video when the kids came home. It really looks and sounds like it was a ton of fun! Did you see the dirt on Mykelle's face? They came home smelling like farm animals and covered in dust and dirt! Adam tried to tell her the story ended well, but it took a bit for her to calm down. What a tender hearted little girl we have! Adam ...

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Apple Picking for Preschool! Yesterday we had a group activity day for preschool- Apple Picking at Alstede Farms! There was so much to do with haystack climbing and tunneling, feeding animals, photo ops, looking at newborn kittens in the hay shed, hay rides, apple cider donut eating, and of course, picking apples! Mykee's "two favorite parts of the activity were apple picking, going on a hay ride, AND going through the tunnel, AND going up the tower! Same as Mykee :). Me: (...

http://wingerlife.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 5, 2011. I just had to write down this conversation I had with Mykelle this morning- it made me cry! M: Did we have a Grandma die? T: Yes, Grandma Mary died a couple years ago when she got really old. M: Why did she die? T: Because she got really old and her body stopped working so well, and she died. M: Can we still eat when we're old? T: Yes, of course! Grandma May is really old (96) and you see her eating and watching TV and sewing and coming to family parties right?

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Aunt Taryl and Grandma Vicky's Visit! Taryl and her mom have been on the East Coast for the last 10 days- they flew out to see Caleb's graduation from Harvard! They got in Friday night and had to leave Sunday morning. It was a short trip but we packed a lot in! Friday night was pretty laid back- we ate at 5 Guy's Burgers and watched a movie. Taryl slept on an air mattress and Mykelle was happy as can be to give up her bed to her adopted "Grandma Vicky.". We did have a good laugh in...

The Winger Life: February 2012
http://wingerlife.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 16, 2012. Third Time's the Charm. We got the results from the biopsy and it's as we expected, cancer is back. We have a plan of action, and I'm willing to face it, though I know I could not do it without support. As I mentioned before, I am trying to keep my health stuff separate from my family blog, even though they are obviously intertwined. All the details of the cancer updates can be found on my other blog, Tessa's Cancer Journey #2. It should say "3" now huh? What a good man huh?
