http://thankfulforeveryday.blogspot.com/2011/03/giant-sigh-of-relief.html

Thankful for Every Day! Welcome to our blog! Sunday, March 27, 2011. GIANT sigh of relief! I had a 3 month follow-up MRI last week, and according to my local neurologist and neuro-radiologist my cavernous angioma had only been partially removed! I have not had very reliable MRI readings here locally though.so for the past week we tried to remain hopeful that this was just par for the course and consistent with my past experiences.Maybe the local doctors had misinterpreted the latest MRI? Hi, I am looking...

Thankful for Every Day! Welcome to our blog! Thursday, August 29, 2013. I'm just gonna say it,. There's no using in delaying,. I'm tired of the angry hanging out inside me,. So I'll quiet down the devil,. I'm gonna knock him with a shovel,. And I'll burry all my troubles underneath the rubble. When I'm alone in my dark dark room,. I have to tell myself to,. Think good thoughts,. Think good thoughts,. Imagine what the world would be if we would just,. Think good thoughts,. Stop the bad from feeding,.

http://brainrebel.blogspot.com/2012/04/taking-simvistatin-for-cavernous.html

The Chronicles of a Rebel Brain. My journey with a cavernous malformation in the brainstem. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Good news on the home front! There are a few medications that have been getting researched for possible benefits for cavernous malformations, one of which is simvastatin (brand name Zocor ™) and is a generic and long studied medication typically prescribed for cholesterol management, and is readily available. And as of yesterday I am taking this! My condition is known to manifest in part...

The Chronicles of a Rebel Brain. My journey with a cavernous malformation in the brainstem. Friday, December 16, 2011. I strive to make this departure as seamless as possible including training my replacements and putting things in good order. We have some false starts on this, so its good that we have 6 weeks to handle this transition! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Click scan for more.

The Chronicles of a Rebel Brain. My journey with a cavernous malformation in the brainstem. Friday, December 31, 2010. Day 3 - Trouble Begins - New Year's Eve. Another great day in the snow. But now I am starting to feel off. Not totally sick, but definitely not well. Not thinking too much of it, was it what I ate last night? Too much to drink? Typical stuff when on vacation. Spent most of the night in that chair, but came back enough to smile for the camera! Thursday, December 30, 2010. Today is a norma...

The Chronicles of a Rebel Brain. My journey with a cavernous malformation in the brainstem. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Continuing through Monday and Tuesday I get twinges of vertigo when I turn too quickly and do mundane things like unloading the dishwasher. Its not pleasant and I cannot do much of this before needing to lie down and let the nausea subside. Saturday, February 25, 2012. I had the best couple of days here with my family. The Chronicles of a Rebel Brain. My journey with a cavernous malformation in the brainstem. Saturday, October 29, 2011. I have had dinner with my dad recently as he was in town for a conference. He has been hearing what a pressure cooker work is and can relate himself. He also has personal experience with the sacrifices of burying oneself with work, the hard work ethic runs in the familiy :) He is a doctor and actually he has always worked much harder than I ever have. The Chronicles of a Rebel Brain. My journey with a cavernous malformation in the brainstem. Friday, March 16, 2012. Anger, frustration, disappointment, annoyance. There have been a wide spectrum of feelings gone through today. Gloomy view from waiting room, foretelling. Food of the Soul | "And what, Socrates, is the food of the soul? Surely, I said, knowledge is the food of the soul." – Plato

Food of the Soul. April 23, 2013 · 12:54 am. Near the end of July 2010, a friend of mine, who has since gone on to create an amazing bike challenge called Bike Zambia. Posted on Facebook that he wanted to do a Tough Mudder race. Up until this point in my life I had never heard of a Tough Mudder. And after researching it I thought three things:. 1) Oh man that looks so difficult. 2) I want to do that! And 3) I am currently in no physical shape to do that. Yes, I chose to do something like this. 1) For ove...

What Are You Thankful For? Thankful For a Million. Artist Spotlight: Angel Kristi Williams, CHARLOTTE. March 5, 2014. As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives. Has been making festival rounds, and she is in pre-production on her next short, CHARLOTTE. We are still here!!!

Friday, April 10, 2015. March 11, 12 and 13 we bowled in the senior games but as of now have given up bowling until next fall. You can only do so much of a good thing. We went to New Smyrna Beach with our friends Fred and Susan. You can drive on the beach but we had to wait until the tide went down. They have a very nice little town with a lot of nice shops and we enjoyed shopping and picking up a few things. We saw the new movie Cinderella and even though Pete did not want to see it he also admitted it ...

thankful for hope

Thursday, December 20, 2012. We are so very quickly approaching the one year anniversary of welcoming Hope Bezualem into our family. Is that possible? I could hardly eat anything, and my mind was racing 24/7. I was most worried about their relationship, Isaac had the hardest time adjusting of the boys, and there just were not many peaceful moments during our day in the beginning with the two of them. I wouldn't necessarily say they are the best of friends now, but they are definitely buddies. :). Just to...
