http://athomeandontheroad.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
AT HOME AND ON THE ROAD. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Pumpkins, Treats, and Critters good and bad. Well, here we are in the middle of October with the cooler temps, rain, and pumpkins gracing every corner. I always feel so sorry for the neighbors who get their pumpkins on the porch steps before all the others, why? Anyway, enough about squirrels. Oh wait, did I say that I have the small red type living under my deck, also a few chipmunks, and a rabbit? At least they haven't returned yet. So when I saw th...

AT HOME AND ON THE ROAD: Un Petit Morceau
http://athomeandontheroad.blogspot.com/2013/02/un-petit-morceau.html
AT HOME AND ON THE ROAD. Friday, February 1, 2013. When just a small bit of sugar is needed.try this. Put some dried prunes and pecans in the food processor until chopped up. Roll the mixture into small balls and then refrigerate overnight. The next day, melt some dark chocolate in the microwave just till warm. Now dip the prune and nut balls in the chocolate and place on parchment paper to harden off. Store these in a cool place. Eat one whenever you have a craving for something sweet. God, I Love Paris.

Four years and a semi marathon. I nearly crawled right back into bed and stayed under the cosy duvet with my Kindle. Had came through our d...

AT HOME AND ON THE ROAD. Thursday, June 28, 2012. She's Fast and Easy. Most everyone likes a salad. Do you do this? I know it looks like a restaurant assembly line, but it's quick and easy once the prep work is complete. I like to do lots of work all at one time, then putting my salads together for several days is a snap. Click here for the interesting history of Fourme d'Ambert. Really worth reading IMHO.* *. The finished product is really just what I wanted.and oh so tasty! Monday, June 25, 2012. Try m...

Ma vie en France. A new life for Musée de l’Homme. I never knew Musée de l’Homme. From emptying corridors came opportunity to change its mission.
