http://gibberishjottings.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, 1 February 2015. I was not able to be around last year but I am back now and eager to make up for last year with loads of things I want to try and things I already do know more about. I am now going to keep this blog mainly for arty/crafty things and my digi-art/scrapping will be on my other blog http:/ gibbyfrogettcraftations.blogspot.co.uk/. My lovely friend Ria gave me the idea of making a ‘Gratitude Jar’ - thanks http:/ riagall3.blogspot.co.uk/. For telling me about this x. The Art of Anything.

A Hint Of Magnolia: July 2014
http://ahintofmagnolia.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
A Hint Of Magnolia. Thursday, 31 July 2014. This month, the Creative Expressions DT have had masks and texture past to get our inky little mitts on. For my card this week, I've used Gold Pearl Texture paste. And the Distressed dots mask. I even remembered to take pictures as I went along. I applied the paste in a rough line across my card. Randomly stamped the crackle. Background with the stamp in my hand rather than on a block. I embossed my base with the Celtic Flower. Thursday, 24 July 2014. This card...

A Hint Of Magnolia: September 2014
http://ahintofmagnolia.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A Hint Of Magnolia. Thursday, 25 September 2014. Morning, my final post for the month for Creative Expressions today and I'm so pleased with how this turned out - I love it. Just using a single colour and some PVA really lets the dies shine, and this idea could so easily transfer to a wedding or birthday card. Come to think of it, there's nothing on this version that just says christmas, so it's already there for other occasions! I love the way the light comes through to highlight the filigree pattern.

Gibberish Jottings: NO ENTRY!
http://gibberishjottings.blogspot.com/2015/05/no-entry.html
Tuesday, 19 May 2015. I did this project for two reasons; to practise a cling-film technique that looks a bit like rag rolling and to make a point to my lovely OH to keep out of my craft room. The effect has worked but the sign hasn't LOL. It was fun trying to get rusty/patina effects without using chemical solutions too. Just using paints and inks. Thanks for stopping by x. 19 May 2015 at 09:55. 21 May 2015 at 09:59. This is just amazing. I love your owl and the overall effect is stunning :). Out of a H...

Gibberish Jottings: THE HAND
http://gibberishjottings.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-hand.html
Sunday, 26 April 2015. Paper Mache hand to use for hanging jewellery on. I just knew I had to turn it into a Steampunk themed one as soon as I saw the blank. Gessoed it first and then painted with flesh colour acrylic paint. I had cut up an old handbag to make the cuff and used a piece that had a rivet and bit of strap on which fitted nicely when wrapping around the wrist part. Next I painted a piece of lace with blue paint, then added some. All I need to do now is make some more necklaces to hang on it.

Sunday, 16 August 2015. DecoArt Alice Shrine Tutorial. Alice in Wonderland Shrine in Celebration of the. Like so many I have been mesmerised by the story from childhood.
