THAT WHICH NOURISHES | STORIES OF FOOD AND LIFE
STORIES OF FOOD AND LIFE. Outside of the Box. NOURISH: to sustain with food; to strengthen or. To sustain with food; to strengthen or build up. My heart’s desire is that this site, whether this food blog or its companion blog “Outside of the Box” will find its way to your stomach and your spirit and in some way, nourish. Eight times, but this time I’m really back. Just for fun and story-telling. In the worl...

That Which Should Not Be Measured. Wednesday, March 09, 2011. Slithis (aka Spawn of the Slithis) (1978). I'll guess we'll just move on. (There is actually a lot of discussion about Slithis though it is all quite meandering. On the plus side, The Thing of Fantastic 4 fame makes a random cameo with a diatribe of science-y words.). Friday, 2 January 2015. All Glory be to Christ. I’m sure every nation has its own treasured New Year traditions. As a Scotsman I can’t imagine Hogmanay without Only an Excuse. Jackie Bird, those 2 violinists whose names I can never remember, and of course Auld Lang Syne. The tune itself brings memories flooding back, reminding us of New Years past, and other special occasions throughout our lives (I remember singing it with our guests at the very end of our wedding celebrations.). All glory be to Christ!
