The Marshalogues: July 2010
http://themarshalogues.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
A blog about cancer, motherhood, theatre, the politics of healthcare and life in general. Friday, July 30, 2010. Long time no see. Haven't felt like writing in a while. Has it really been since February? Those who know me in real life know that I have a baby due in 8 or 9 weeks. I figured this was as good a time as any to start updating here as the countdown to baby begins. What if he gets picked on for being small? Will he be smaller than everyone else? The Marshalogues: September 2009
http://themarshalogues.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
A blog about cancer, motherhood, theatre, the politics of healthcare and life in general. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. I am still here. When you don't blog for a little while, it becomes a habit. Do people really want to hear about what I am doing on a daily basis? From the comments of friends and family complaining about my blog silence, I suppose for some reason they do. So here I am. Blogging. I have also been cast in the Palace Christmas Behemoth, otherwise known as the musical. The cats wandered a...

The Marshalogues: Wiley
http://themarshalogues.blogspot.com/2010/09/wiley.html
A blog about cancer, motherhood, theatre, the politics of healthcare and life in general. Thursday, September 30, 2010. I may write more about the c section when I have more energy. I'll just say that it went as well as it was supposed to but was not a fun experience for a person who is terrified when out of control. You can't get more out of control than submitting to surgery while awake. But it was a perfectly executed procedure resulting in a healthy, safely-birthed baby boy. We are getting decent sle...

Marsha, I so love the doofy word you are using.Do I detect a little German there? But you are right about Jackson, only have gotten doofy pics lately.and you know how many pics I have taken of both of them all the time.I think it is so funny. They are both very sweet boys! The Marshalogues: Aversion to a version
http://themarshalogues.blogspot.com/2010/09/aversion-to-version.html
A blog about cancer, motherhood, theatre, the politics of healthcare and life in general. Thursday, September 09, 2010. Aversion to a version. No dice on the version. Baby likes where he is and isn't interested in turning over. We only managed to aggravate him and make me sore. But I am not really sorry we tried. I am resigned to having a section unless he turns over on his own, which is very, very unlikely. I just have to get through two more weeks of being uncomfortably pregnant. I'm pretty sore to...

smab_mouth: To Finn, on his first day of kindergarten
http://smabmouth.blogspot.com/2008/08/to-finn-on-his-first-day-of.html
Monday, August 18, 2008. To Finn, on his first day of kindergarten. About two hours ago, I abandoned you in your kindergarten classroom. I walked you to your room and eased you into the classroom filled to fire hazard with five-year-olds, their parents, and more cameras- video, digital, cell phone- than an AARP tour group on a whale watching cruise. Then I blew you a kiss, swallowed yours, and booked it out the door so you wouldn't see my inevitable and long-postponed (and planned) breakdown. But kinderg...

Thing What Squeeks: March 2012
http://rabid-fraggle.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 30, 2012. One of Max's favorite things in the whole world is Birthday Cake. He has told me "Happy Birthday" out of the blue on occasion, and then asked for birthday cake. He's a funny guy. If you want a really great birthday cake, might I suggest:. Make a Guinness chocolate cake. Make some buttercream icing. Make some cherry topping. Frost the cake with the icing and add some cherries upon serving. It is a tasty treat. Labels: nom nom nom. Friday, March 16, 2012. Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

Thing What Squeeks: July 2012
http://rabid-fraggle.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 19, 2012. I'm a little behind on photo editing, and even further behind on posting to Flickr. Digging through photos taken over a year ago can bring some surprises. With it comes this Potato Abomination courtesy of Max. PS - I know I hardly ever post anymore, but that's why they invented RSS feeds. Just forget about this blog until BAM surprise potato freaks. Thing What Squeeks: February 2012
http://rabid-fraggle.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Image from Knit Picks Catalog. When Knit Picks released the colorway Time Traveler in their Felici. Sock yarn, I knew that I wanted it. I also knew that I needed to use it to make socks for Jeff. If someone loves Doctor Who enough to knit a scarf for ages. They are surely deserving of a modest pair of socks in similar colors, yes? Plain socks from The Knitter's Book of Socks. Designed by Jane Cochran. (I still think that Elm. Might have been pretty cool looking too.). I've mad...

When Heather Met Blog....: Holidays
http://whenheathermetblog.blogspot.com/2010/12/holidays.html
When Heather Met Blog. Friday, December 10, 2010. Brooklyn saw Santa on Sunday, she said "TRICK OR TREAT." God bless her, the holidays at 2 years old just all run together. As expected, both my kids were just a little confused by the whole Santa ordeal. I bought Elf on a Shelf. Genius concept and totally working. I'm the new puree queen. Sneaking veggie purees in almost every meal, got you B! Thank you Double Delicious for the amazing recipes that are so tasty. So much to be thankful for. Nice to meet you.
