For five years, I never had them unless I was on leave. Ward rounds, followed by changes, pre. Morning OT cover, on calls, pre. Calls, post-calls, I could count the number of times I had a full Saturday and Sunday off since I graduated. And don't get me started about public holidays. I sound bitter, don't I? And didn't have to take any leave! On the 28 th.
